The demo and patient data
The demo on this site runs on fictional patients only. The names, histories and dictations it ships with are invented for illustration; they are not real people and the notes they produce are not clinical advice.
Do not enter real patient information into the demo. It is a sales demonstration, not a cleared clinical environment: no data-processing agreement is in place for it, and it is not covered by a HIPAA/GDPR assessment. For a real deployment, processing of actual patient data begins only after a data-handling and compliance review appropriate to your jurisdiction, with the agreements that review requires.
Text you type into the demo is sent to our server to produce the draft and is not stored there. The draft you are working on is kept in your own browser's local storage so a refresh does not lose it — see the table below.
Personal data
Controller: RDZ Media, contactable at edouard@rdz-media.com.
What this site collects. There is no account, no login and no contact form here. Two things can produce data about you:
- Audience measurement (Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager) — only if you accept. Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. IP addresses are truncated by Google Analytics before storage; retention is set to 14 months.
- Writing to us. If you email us, we process what you send in order to reply and, where relevant, to prepare a quote. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps and our legitimate interest in answering you. We keep commercial correspondence for 3 years from the last exchange.
Recipients. Google Ireland Ltd. as our analytics processor, if and only if you consented. No data is sold, and none is shared with advertising networks from this site.
Cookies and local storage
Nothing that is not strictly necessary is set before you accept. Refusing is one click, exactly like accepting, and you can change your mind at any time with Cookie settings — also linked in the footer of every page.
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga / _ga_* | Google Analytics | Distinguishes visitors and keeps session state. Consent required. | 13 months |
mednote_consent_v1 | This site (local storage) | Remembers your accept/decline choice. Strictly necessary — no consent required. | Until you clear it |
mednote-draft-v1 | This site (local storage) | Keeps the demo draft you are working on in your own browser so it survives a refresh. Never transmitted. | Until you clear it |
Declining is not penalised: every page works identically either way.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to your data, its correction or erasure, restriction of or objection to processing, and portability — and you may withdraw consent at any time, which is what the Cookie settings link does. Write to edouard@rdz-media.com; we answer within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority — in France the CNIL, in Poland the UODO.
Intellectual property
The texts, visuals and code of this site belong to RDZ Media. MedNote is documentation support software: it is not a medical device, it makes no diagnosis and gives no treatment recommendation, and the practitioner remains responsible for the content of every note they approve.
Also applicable
RDZ Media's group-level Privacy Statement and Cookie Policy apply in addition to this page. Where they differ on a point specific to this site, this page is the accurate one.
